Also I have to mention that, I don't why but I think Precious' story was much more sad:((
Also, if she was not black. She is fat and it may cause a big problem for a teenager. They make fun of her.

ReplyDeleteI wonder why Precious' story seems sadder. Perhaps because we have the visual support? Or maybe because on top of being black, unattractive, overweight, sexually and physically abused and semi-literate, she also contracted HIV from her rapist father? Her story is really almost unbearable...it's such a shocking film, more like a documentary than a drama - it's telling our society to WAKE UP!
