18. Error Correction

After practice presentations, our lovely teacher Sonja gives us a list of phrases with errors:).She asked us to correct the errors in each phrase.

Here it is:

WRONG

2)He is lack of self-confidence

4)He couldn't success to be a man

6)They behaved her very badly
7)his husband(:D)
8)grow their children

10)our wearings
11)men with similar dresses

CORRECT
1)Jim Hawkins
2)He is not self-confident
3)poverty
4)He couldn't manage to be a man
5)Turn on the TV
6)They were bad against her
7)her husband
8)raise their children
9)listening to them
10)our clothes
11)men with similar clothes

    I'm glad you enjoyed the pronunciation practice, I also love teaching pronunciation.

    Some feedback on your corrections:
    #2 - yes, also 'he lacks self-confidence' - this was yours, so I'm happy you were able to correct it.

    #4 - yes, also 'He couldn't succeed in becoming a man.'

    #6 - They treated her badly. (to treat sb badly)

    #11 - yes, also 'They were dressed similarly.'

    Well done overall!!
